Known Donor Agreement

A donor agreement establishes the rights, responsibilities, and expectations of everyone involved when using a known sperm, egg, or embryo donor. It is often recommended for LGBTQ+ individuals and couples building their family with someone they know personally.

Parentage

Legal parentage establishes the legal parent-child relationship and helps protect parental rights. Parentage planning is often an important part of surrogacy, donor conception, and other assisted reproduction journeys to help ensure the intended parent(s) are legally recognized.

Confirmatory Adoption

Confirmatory adoption is a legal process that provides an added layer of protection for a parent-child relationship. Many married same-sex couples choose confirmatory adoption to help strengthen their parental rights, even if both parents are already listed on the child's birth certificate.

Surrogacy Agreement

A surrogacy agreement outlines the rights, responsibilities, and expectations of the intended parent(s) and gestational carrier before an embryo transfer takes place. It helps protect everyone involved and establishes a strong legal foundation for the surrogacy journey.
